Thomas Farrell, Jr.

Thomas Farrell, Jr. was a very special and much-loved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Judy Ferrell and his grandson Gavin Thomas Farrell, who has been a devoted and attentive caregiver and companion during these past years. He was preceded in death by his beautiful daughter Leslie Ann, and is survived by his son Bradley and daughter Bridgett. He was an amazing big brother to Francine, Allen, and John Farrell. Tom was always willing to volunteer to help those in need. As an Army volunteer, he served with valor in Vietnam and was awarded the Purple Heart for the wounds he suffered there. Tom and Judy Farrell founded and operated Formal Notice Tuxedo for more than 29 years and shared the joys and celebrations of many in the community over the years. Tom was quick to offer help and never complained. Everyone who knew Tom liked and admired him. He held himself to a very high standard, yet was never judgemental of others. He will be missed by all who knew his loving patience, his quick wit, his wise counsel and his boyish charm. We take comfort in knowing he is joining his daughter, his brother (Allen), his nieces (Melinda, Toni and Lindsey Faye), his parents (Thomas and Evelyn Farrell), and many other loved ones in his heavenly body and life. Well done, Tom. We will miss you.
