He worked his way through college with odd jobs, resulting in becoming a ramp agent for four years with American Airlines. This introduced him to a lifelong love of travel. His career started in 1969 with a job at Travelers Insurance. His advancements led him to being a Hearing Representative at the Long Beach Workers Compensation Board. He retired from Travelers in 2008. His retirement was filled with adventures on many cruises, and visits to cities in the U.S. and abroad. He was a loving p'pa, dad, husband and friend. He leaves a legacy of compassion and respect for all people. His belief in the goodness of humanity was at his core. His family admired and loved him.
