Monae Jeaninne Humphrey

     Monae Jeaninne Humphrey was born in Harbor City, California,  November 23, 1990 to Melody Melon Hall Ceaser and John T. Humphrey. Monae was 34 years of age when she passed. Monae was the fourth child of four children.

     Monae played basketball for Jordan High School, graduated and played some college basketball at LBCC. Monae decided to follow her passion and started her own business, “Locs By Nae.” She also decided to follow her other passion, which was traveling.

     Monae was a friend to many, but more of a sister to all who crossed her path. She was caring and sharing; she would give her last to help. She was the life of the party and her infectious smile and quirky sayings would make anyone laugh and smile.

     She has now laid down, took her last breath, closed her eyes and went to sleep. She will always be remembered as “the sleeping beauty.”
