Anthony Carl Gambucci

     With sad hearts and much love, we announce the passing of Anthony Carl Gambucci, 70 years young, on October 21, 2025 in Long Beach.

     Tony was born on September 4, 1955 in Fresno, California to Carl and Dolly Gambucci. He and his older sister, Vicki, were raised in the family motel business. He graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a degree in Biology. He then went on to Los Angeles College of Chiropractic and opened Gambucci Clinic of Chiropractic in El Segundo, California, where he continued to practice for over forty five years until his death.

     Tony was known for his love of travel, starting with a six-week backpacking trip with a friend to Europe in 1977. He continued to travel his whole life because of his love for people of every culture and walk of life. One of his many goals in life was to see all seven continents on the planet. His love of travel was shared with his husband, Patrick Wintersteen, for over 22 years, and they achieved that goal together with a trip to Antarctica in 2024. They also visited two thirds of the worlds countries.

     Tony devoted his life to the service of others and his generous spirit was felt by many. He leaves behind Patrick and his very close niece Tami, many cousins in Minnesota and an abundant number of friends that will miss him terribly.
